I hold a PhD in business and management, as well as a Master鈥檚 degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Technology Enhanced Learning. I am a fully qualified teacher (PGCE ages 5-18) and a Senior Fellow of HEA.
My PhD used analytical methods derived from ethnographies of communication and interactional sociolinguistics to track the development of Personal Team Familiarity in virtual teams as they communicated with one another via WhatsApp.
Active Research Interests
I am currently exploring marking and feedback practices among business school lecturers using the "Think Aloud" methodology.
