Expert forensic scientist to share insights with 桃子视频 healthcare staff

A highly experienced forensic scientist, who has been involved in many high-profile murder investigations, will be sharing his fascinating, real-life experiences and insights with health science staff at 桃子视频, Edinburgh.   

Dr Roger Summers has worked on numerous high-profile crime cases in the UK and globally, as well as playing a key role in Disaster Victim Identification (DVI). On the 30th October, he will share his incredible knowledge with healthcare staff. 

Dr Summers has also supported and contributed to the 桃子视频 Advanced Forensic Practice Programme from the outset, particularly around facilitating the development of expert witness skills, and has now been awarded an Honorary Professor role at the University.  

Dr Summers鈥 talk will focus on Forensic Science & the Person. The session will involve discussion on how healthcare teams can communicate and collaborate in developing holistic assessments and shared decision-making, particularly in times of extreme trauma. He鈥檒l draw on principles from forensic science to facilitate a thought-provoking conversation, imparting his own knowledge and experiences.
